Announces its 1st Major Event of 2008!

CalWA's Northern California Conference and Charity Golf Tournament
May 14th & 15th 2008


CalWA is pleased to invite you to its 1st major event of the year - an exciting, 2-day event, featuring an afternoon of educational sessions presented by some of the country's foremost experts, followed by a second day of fantastic networking (and recreational) opportunities at the 1st Annual Northern California Charity Golf Tournament.
Please mark your calendars and plan on attending. Both days begin after the lunch hour, so our members and guests can "take care of business" in the mornings and join us in the afternoons.

Day One - Wednesday,, May 14, 2008: CalWA's Northern California Educational Conferences

This half-day conference features several relevant sessions and some of the country's foremost experts, including PCIA's DAS Forum, updates on REV G, Fundamentals of RF, as well as legislative and regulatory updates. Following the educational sessions, CalWA invites you to a cocktail reception with appetizers at the Marriott's beautiful outdoor patio.

When: Registration begins at 1PM, all Session begin at 2PM.
Where: San Ramon Marriott, 2600 Bishop Drive, San Ramon, CA
Cost: $100.00/person

Day Two - Thursday, May 15, 2008: CalWA's Northern California Charity Golf Tournament

Day Two is a time to relax and enjoy an afternoon of golf with charitable proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross. Following the tournament, a buffet dinner will be provided. CalWA is pleased to announce that our Keynote Speaker at the dinner will be R. Clayton Funk, Managing Director of Media Venture Partners, LLC. We're sure you'll enjoy Clayton's insightful and humorous remarks on the state of the wireless industry.

When: Registration begins at 11:30am, Shotgun start at 1PM
Where: Poppy Ridge Golf Course, 4280 Greenville Road, Livermore, CA
Cost: $250.00/person
